The most tedious job in building a pattern with stripped hackle feelers is the stripping of the fibres. For small quantities dyeing the stems is also a bit of a chore. So we have made life simple for you; stripped hackle quills in a wide selections of vibrant colours. These are not the smaller type quills that are used for dry fly and nymph bodies, but larger, stiffer quills that are used for feelers on saltwater and salmon/steelhead patterns. Packaged in packs of 20. Length 4"-6" (10cm - 15cm).
