About the Ownership

Fly fishing has been a passion my whole life, and in many aspects it has shaped my life; from cherished childhood memories, global travels in pursuit of elusive fish and adventure, to immigrating to Smithers, B.C. in order to be at the centre of steelhead fishing. Many friendships were made and many years ago I started working as a steelhead fly fishing guide on the Bulkley. Fly fishing has been a thread through my life. My passion for fly fishing and fly tying has led to the birth of Skeena River Fly Supply. My goal is for Skeena River Fly Supply to be an innovative company where anglers can come to find high quality products, specific items that are not common, custom items and interesting information on fly tying and fishing in general.

Skeena River Fly Supply also produces a variety of flies. These are flies that are designed by myself or our SRFS team members. The flies are all extensively tested and perfected over many seasons. They are tied to the highest standards and with the best materials available. No shortcuts, guaranteed effective flies, made to catch fish, not fishermen. Skeena River Fly Supply is fully operated from Smithers, BC. All our products are packaged locally. Skeena River Fly Supply also provides to retailers, commercial fly tiers and guides.  I run Skeena River Fly Supply together with my wife, and best fishing buddy, Roanne.
