Predator Cone Heads
When tying very large fly patterns on plastic tubes we sometimes need to add a bit of weight in order to balance the fly for casting and tracking in the water. We have developed new cone heads for this purpose, specifically for our large Predator Tubes. The cone heads can be used in two ways; the traditional way in front of the wing, to finish off the fly, or behind the wing where it serves to prop up materials as well.
The cone heads come in two sizes: 0.9 and 1.2 gram. The 0.9 gram cone head is shorter. These are very high quality machined brass cone heads with a large recess to accommodate materials and rounded edges to prevent chafing of materials. These are the cone heads that are used in our commercial  saltwater bait fish patterns. 10 per pack.
