These cone heads are designed with a deep recess to accommodate bulky heads/materials and to slide over the flange of bottle tubes. They are made of leaded brass and have a high quality paint job that is highly chip resistant. Great for patterns that require a lot of coverage or the need for the materials, such as hackles, to be pushed back. The leaded brass gives the boneheads a bit of weight, just enough to nicely balance the fly.
