These mini diamond swivels a great for use with leaders that need to sink. We use them mostly for trout fishing. Float tube fishing with wet flies, or chironomid fishing where the added bit of weight from the swivel helps to keep the chironomid imitation in the zone. The swivel helps facilitate leader tippet changes and minimizes wasted leader material.
These mini diamond swivels can be used with leader material of 8lbs and lighter, so they are suited for most trout applications.
