Lady Amherst Tail Feathers

Full sized, top quality, Lady Amherst Tail Feathers. Commonly used for highlights in Intruder wings and Hobo Speys. Also great for flies that require a "shrimpy"/ "leggy" look, like some saltwater patterns. 1 full feather per pack. Centre tail feathers have a symmetrical look with the fibres roughly equal in length left and right side of the stem. (some variation). All Lady Amherst Tail feathers that we buy are categorized as Centre Tail Feathers, however, we go through them and select only those with roughly equal fibres for our Centre Tail Feathers, the more uneven ones are sold as our Side Tail Feathers.

Regarding our colours; all our products are dyed for specific colours in Smithers, BC. The following colours are available for our Lady Amherst Pheasant tails;
- Natural White
- Pink: an intense, hot pink. Great for a bit of contrast and accent in Hobo Speys and Intruders.
- Purple: a standard purple but kept fairly light, so that the black barring of the feathers shows up nicely.
- Light Pink: a soft baby pink, kept light for contrast. Great for subtle spring conditions
- Yellow: a standard brilliant yellow
- Kingfisher Blue: a vibrant blue that maintains the barred black accents of the feather
- Golden Pheasant: a golden brown, just like a Golden Pheasant tail feather. Great for saltwater applications.
- Orange: a nice vibrant orange, quite intense. The shade is similar to Golden Pheasant tippet feathers.
- Green: a pale forest green
- Chartreuse: a vibrant green chartreuse
- Highlander Green: the standard Highlander Green
