Warranty Policy – Fly Tying Supplies & Tools

Manufacturer Warranties
Many tools (vises, scissors, specialty equipment) are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty length and coverage vary by brand.

We will assist customers in processing warranty claims with the manufacturer when applicable.

Warranty does not cover:
♦ Normal wear and tear
♦ Rust caused by improper storage
♦ Damage due to misuse or modification
♦ Loss or theft

Limited Store Warranty (30 Days)
We offer a 30-day limited warranty on most tying tools against manufacturing defects.

If a product fails due to a defect within 30 days of purchase:
♦ We will replace the item, or
♦ Provide store credit at our discretion
♦ Proof of purchase is required.

Natural Materials Disclaimer
Fly tying materials such as feathers, fur, and natural fibres vary in size, texture, and coloration. These variations are not defects but natural characteristics.

We do not guarantee:
♦ Exact colour matching between batches
♦ Uniform feather length
♦ Identical texture across natural materials

Custom Fly Warranty & Guarantee

Craftsmanship Guarantee
♦ We guarantee our custom flies are tied:
♦ Using quality hooks and materials
♦ Secured with proper thread tension
♦ Finished with durable head cement or UV resin

If a fly fails before first use due to tying error (unraveling head, improperly secured materials), notify us within 7 days for replacement.

Fish Catch Durability Disclaimer
Fly fishing involves sharp teeth, rocks, snags, and repeated casting impact.

We do not warranty flies against:
♦ Fish damage
♦ Snag damage
♦ Hook bending due to large fish
♦ Loss in water
♦ Normal wear after use

Flies are consumable fishing products and expected to degrade with use.

Custom Pattern Approval

For fully custom pattern orders:
♦ Customer must approve design specs before tying begins
♦ Changes after production may incur additional charges
♦ Custom orders are non-refundable once production begins

Bulk & Commercial Orders

For guides, outfitters, and retailers:
♦ Production timelines will be agreed upon in writing
♦ 50% deposit may be required
♦ Final balance due before shipping
♦ Bulk custom flies are non-refundable unless defective
♦ Defective claims must be submitted within 5 business days of receipt.

Return & Exchange Policy

Eligible Returns (Within 14 Days)
Unused and unopened items may be returned within 14 days of purchase for:
♦ Refund to original payment method, or
♦ Store credit

Items must be:

♦ Undamaged
♦ Accompanied by receipt
