All of our flies are tied in-house, ensuring the highest level of quality, consistency, and attention to detail. Every pattern you see on our website is available to order, and each fly is carefully tied by hand selected team of professional tiers.

Orders are completed in the order they are received. While our turnaround times are usually quite reasonable, they can vary depending on order volume and fly complexity. When you place an order, we will always provide a realistic timeline for tying and delivery, so you know exactly what to expect.

We take great pride in producing flies that are not only beautifully tied, but designed to fish and perform on the water.

We look forward to tying the flies that will help you connect with the fish of your dreams.

Custom Hand Tied Flies
In order to make custom fly production feasible and cost-effective there is a minimum order quantity of 6 per fly pattern.

Jaap has fished and guided the Skeena system for the last 30 years, quite intensely. Over those years he has fine-tuned the flies that he uses for the various tributaries of the Skeena. The flies that are part of his signature series are his "bread-and -butter" flies. They have stood the test of time and are reliable producers. With this set of flies he is confident to fish a full season on the Skeena and it's tributaries. Many of the flies are relatively simple patterns. No fancy "extras" to appeal to the consumer, just simple, solidly tied flies, with the best materials available, you will not find a better quality fly.

* NOTE: all tube flies come without a hook. We suggest a straight eye, off-set bait style hook, for connected rigging. For looped riggings we suggest a 45 degree up-eye, bait style hook, off-set, such as a Partridge Patriot Intruder hook. For dry flies we suggest the Partridge Patriot Stinger, inserted up-side-down.

IMPORTANT:

All our flies are Custom Hand Tied here in Terrace, BC, Canada. With a broad experience in commercial fly production, fly design, guiding and destination travel, we will be able to help you with fly selection and tie the perfect flies for your next fly fishing adventure.

We have a selection of fly designs that you can choose from, or you can completely custom design your flies. To facilitate the ordering process you can simply order the flies that we have in our design selection from the site. Using our standard shopping experience with basket and secure checkout.

Custom fly production takes time; we suggest to order your flies at least 2-3 months prior to your trip in order to make sure that your flies can be produced on time. When you place your order we will let you know when you can expect your flies to be ready. Waiting times most commonly vary between 2 weeks and 3 months. For big orders from Lodges and Guides and Outfitters we suggest to order your fly selections for the next season just after the current season.

In order to make custom fly production feasible and cost-effective there is a minimum order quantity of 6 per fly pattern.

The difference between a good angler and a great angler lies in the details. This goes also for fly designs. Attention to detail is what we do, from hook or tube selection to materials to the way the material are tied in to make them move the best. The end result is a fly that produces more strikes, the landing part is up to you!
